Job summary

NPX ONE LLC seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician in Indiana to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment. The role requires interpreting drawings, troubleshooting, and conducting preventative tasks to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Two years of industrial experience in electrical and mechanical environments; a trades program or an associates degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and mathematical ability are required.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Proficient with PLC, HMI, and motor drives; basic electrical testing tools.
• Must be able to work in a safety-focused industrial setting and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and machinery manuals.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Calibrate procedures on various equipment and troubleshoot instrumentation like thermocouples and sensors.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and other departments to resolve issues.
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely; maintain high craftsmanship standards.
• Ensure food safety and defense inspections when required.
