Job summary

Doumak, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Technician-Electro for the Elk Grove Village, IL location on the 11 pm–7 am shift. The role pays an hourly rate of $33.55 with overtime opportunities and requires strong electrical maintenance skills and ability to read schematics.

Primary duties include supporting production, repairing equipment, troubleshooting automation, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates should be able to lift 70 pounds, work safely around machinery, and pass a background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training/AA/AS a plus.
• Experience in industrial maintenance; food/confection experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machinery and building equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and complete repairs.
• Work from drawings and instructions to perform tasks and adjustments.
