Job summary

Cheshire Medical Center Emergency Department in Keene, NH is seeking an ED Technician to provide patient care and operational support during nights. The role works 36 hours per week, 7 PM–7 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; 2 years in an acute hospital setting preferred; phlebotomy and 12-lead EKG experience preferred. NREMT with NH license or LNA with BLS required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 12-lead EKG experience preferred.
• NREMT with NH Providers License OR LNA with BLS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and operational support in the ED.
• Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, and collect specimens.
• Record results in the medical record and follow hospital policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety.
