Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 26-bed Emergency Department at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Appleton. The role involves 12-hour MID shifts (1p-1a) with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation, in a Level III Trauma Center environment with opportunities for advancement.

As part of a collaborative interprofessional team, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based care, ensure safety, and support learning and development within a dynamic ED setting in Appleton,

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure
• Healthcare Provider BLS
• BSN completion within 5 years of hire required if not yet BSN
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC within specified timelines are required or pending

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patients and develop a care plan with the interprofessional team.
• Plan patient care needs in collaboration with the team for high-quality outcomes.
• Provide care across the ED with age-appropriate, developmentally sensitive nursing care.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient experience, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
