Job summary

UCHealth Loveland is seeking a Charge RN to provide nursing leadership on the Night shift in the MCR ER unit. This onsite role demands clinical excellence, the ability to plan staffing, assign tasks, and respond quickly to changing patient needs.

You will supervise and mentor the team, perform direct care when needed, and help ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, PALS and at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• State RN licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• BLS/ACLS and pediatric/trauma certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors staff during assigned shift.
• Determines staffing levels and assignments based on census and acuity.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and supports staff with problem-solving.
• Ensures safe, high-quality patient care with available equipment and supplies.
• Responds to patient care issues and escalates as needed.
