Job summary

Simmons is seeking a Dump Driver for the SAN Wet Plant on the Nights B shift. The role requires operating various trailers, dumping products, and ensuring safety and accuracy within Simmons facility properties.

Responsibilities include paperwork, pre-trip checks, equipment maintenance, and training of new staff. A valid CDL with tanker endorsement and English literacy are required, with occasional travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL with Tanker endorsement or obtain before employment.
• 1 year of driving experience with CDL.
• Ability to read, write English and do basic math.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer and end dump, hopper bottom, tanker, or box trailer to move product within facilities.
• Dump product accurately in designated locations using hydraulic ram or tipper.
• Maintain dump bin levels and ensure product tracing for freshness.
• Complete required paperwork and perform pre-trip inspections; wash and sanitize as needed.
• Train new employees and support team initiatives; participate in meetings and process improvements.
