Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Dump Driver to operate a semi-truck and trailer within our Wet SAN facility. You will move raw and finished products, perform dumps, weight checks, and related paperwork while maintaining safe practices.

Qualified candidates hold a CDL with Tanker Endorsement, or will obtain it before starting. A valid medical card and at least 1 year of CDL driving experience are required; certification and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a company driving test.
• Must hold a valid CDL with Tanker Endorsement or obtain it before employment.
• Must maintain a valid medical card.
• 1 year of driving experience with CDL.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-truck and trailer to move product within Simmons facility properties.
• Dump product in designated locations using hydraulic ram trailer or tipper truck.
• Weigh product and maintain related documentation.
• Pre-trip equipment and relocate to the shop as needed.
• Train new employees on procedures and safe practices.
• Relocate trailers to be loaded with finished product.
• Follow Simmons operating systems and safety policies.
