Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an Experienced Diesel/Brake Technician (DOT Certified) for on-site fleet maintenance. This full-time role offers a 3rd shift with 9PM–7AM or 9PM–6AM options and a competitive hourly wage plus comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include servicing DOT and delivery vans at client sites, performing preventive maintenance, brake work, diagnostics, state inspections, and tire-related tasks, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• DOT Brake Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventive maintenance at client sites.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, brake repairs, and fluid exchanges.
• Conduct advanced repairs and state inspections; training may occur in a customer retail environment first.
