Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a dispatcher to coordinate the delivery operations, assign drivers to trucks, and ensure on-time departure and arrival. The role requires strong communication with drivers via computers, phones, or radios and readiness to assist with weather or route issues.

Responsibilities include monitoring routes, documenting trip records, and maintaining professional interactions with customers, vendors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 1–2 years dispatch and commercial driver experience or related area.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and assign trips using available technology.
• Track driver progress and transfer trip records into company files.
• Communicate with drivers daily and handle requests/complaints from customers.
• Calculate miles for all trucks and determine travel times for cost estimates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
