Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a highly qualified Dispatcher for our Dayton, Ohio operation. You will dispatch and manage CDL-A drivers on dedicated, JIT round trip loads, coordinating with satellite tracking and TMW to meet revenue and mileage goals while maintaining safety.

Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and computer skills are required. Candidates with experience in dispatching or closely related transportation roles, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and computer skills; experience with satellite tracking and dispatch software preferred.
• Dispatching experience or related transportation industry experience desired.
• Willingness to work extra hours when needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with transportation industry technology such as TMW and Samsara preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and manage CDL-A drivers on dedicated, JIT, round trip loads while safely meeting revenue & mileage goals for drivers and equipment.
• Support drivers and equipment through satellite tracking and dispatch software to ensure on-time performance.
