Job summary

Jewish Child and Family Services (JCFS) seeks a Direct Support Professional to work the 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 a.m. shift, Fri–Sun, on-site in Chicago. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license with clean record, HCWR entry as DSP or CNA, S-TOFHLA, and prior experience. Salary is $20.00/hour with increases for experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• HCWR entry as DSP or CNA.
• S-TOFHLA Passing score (Literacy test).
• Experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in home and community.
• Staff may train and support all residential homes within the department as needed.
