Job summary

Lowe's Guardian Angel is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide essential in-home and community-based support in Riverdale, GA. The DSP will help with daily living activities, health monitoring, and transport as needed, following individualized care plans.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience with dual diagnosis. CNA and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are preferred; background checks and CPI certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with individuals with dual diagnosis preferred.
• CNA license and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are preferred.
• Criminal background checks (local and Cogent) and TB screening required.
• CPI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide medication administration support and health monitoring.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal-related tasks.
• Promote independence and follow ISP/POC care plans.
• Document daily activities, health notes, and report changes to supervisor.
