Greyhound Bus Lines Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for the night shift in St. Louis, MO.

The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered buses to keep our fleet road-ready. CDL eligibility will be assisted, and the position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably on buses, trucks, or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL – we’ll help cover the cost.
• Must be able to do shift work – including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and work under vehicles.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and coach components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and brakes as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols.
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and the maintenance manager regarding status and timelines.
• Stay current on diesel engine technologies and repair techniques.
