Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in Missouri seeks a bedside RN for the Inpatient Acute Dialysis unit. The 12-bay unit operates 24/7 with 7PM-7AM shifts and three 12-hour shifts per week, plus every third weekend rotation and on-call every sixth Sunday.

Requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's, RN license, and minimum two years of hospital bedside experience; dialysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-years hospital-based bedside RN experience.
• Dialysis experience preferred.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Works within the BJC safety framework and escalation processes.
