Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is a Magnet-recognized hospital offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including heart care and women’s health. This RN role requires 3 12-hour shifts, nights, and on-call duties with every 3rd Saturday and some Sundays.

Orientation is tailored to needs, with growth via the BJC RN Career Ladder. The dialysis unit operates with 6 stations and an all-RN staff; experience in dialysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nursing Diploma or Associate's required.
• RN license required.
• No experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or higher education.
• <2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatment, and home care needs.
• Participates in activities to promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Assesses and addresses physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient needs.
