Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in St. Louis County, seeks a registered nurse for a 12-hour day/evening shift. The dialysis unit operates with 6 stations and is staffed by an all RN team.

The role includes on-call duties 1-2 times per week, every 3rd Saturday, and some Sunday call. The RN will provide direct patient care, participate in care planning, education, and quality initiatives, and support patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN license required (state RN licensure)
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• No experience required; <2 years experience preferred for advancement or growth

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Maintains communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
