Job summary

Dollar Tree’s Distribution Centers are seeking a Department Manager to lead up to 20 associates and run daily operations safely and efficiently. You’ll oversee Receiving, Order Selection, Shipping, and Equipment, ensuring schedules and inventory controls are maintained according to policy.

You will coach supervisors, uphold safety and quality standards, and maintain compliance with DC practices, while driving continuous process improvements through strong communication and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in distribution center management or operations roles.
• Solid knowledge of DC practices and procedures.
• Strong leadership, administrative, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and implement proactive solutions.
• Proficient PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee department operations for up to 20 associates.
• Support Receiving, Order Selection, Shipping and Equipment departments.
• Ensure accurate scheduling, receiving, unloading, labeling and stocking.
• Lead and coach supervisors and associates toward success.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, quality and operational standards.
• Maintain DC practices and procedures compliance.
