Job summary

ShopRite of Southbury in Southbury, CT is seeking a Night Crew Chief to direct all Night Crew department operations non-exempt, reporting to Store Manager. The role focuses on safety, customer experience, and efficiency to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, training, scheduling, maintaining standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Night Crew Department and its Associates to meet department goals.
• Uphold ShopRite safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency priorities.
• Engage, train, and lead associates to achieve department outcomes.
