Job summary

Black Box Network Services in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician with a proven track record in structured cabling, optical fiber installation, and data center environments. You will install, test, and certify cabling, troubleshoot issues, and support facilities and site security teams.

The role requires experience with high-speed fiber, IEEE/BICSI standards, and Fluke Versiv testing.

Qualifications

Requires high-speed fiber optic transport training.
Knowledge of structured cabling and data center practices.
Ability to inspect and clean optical cabling and measure/test signals.

Responsibilities

Install and patch cabling between network equipment and customer network.
Install power cables from equipment to rack/power supply.
Test and de-install network equipment and cables.
Handle Move/Add/Change requests within service levels.
Provide infrastructure cabling break-fix services and basic layer 1 troubleshooting.
