Job summary

Toledo Ice Cream, a DFA brand, seeks a Setup Technician to operate production equipment and perform line changeovers while maintaining quality standards. The role supports overnight shifts at the Toledo facility, with emphasis on safe, compliant operations and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities include equipment pre-flight, changeover parts handling, and adherence to GMP and safety protocols to ensure smooth production and product quality across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience with production machinery.
• Thorough understanding of machines and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to wear safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, face shields, and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers as required for the line equipment (filler, cartoner, video jets, scanners, etc.).
• Pre-flight equipment and assist at start-up with focus on Rachel and Beta.
• Account for, maintain, and store change over parts properly.
• Grease and oil Beta and Rachel equipment.
• Ensure all activities are accurately documented in tablets.
