Job summary

St. Paul Beverage Solutions in Minnesota is seeking skilled plant maintenance mechanics to keep production assets running.

You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance on electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across production, packaging, and utility operations. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reading schematics, installing new equipment, and minimizing downtime through troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical school in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration preferred.
• 2-4 years of maintenance and related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Certification/licensing may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance/repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections for reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and work orders.
• Support installation of new equipment and upgrades.
• Assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders promptly while maintaining high quality.
• Use hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely.
• Communicate with departments and management about issues affecting production.
• Document all repairs and required information accurately.
• Stay updated on new products, equipment, and techniques.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Anticipate parts needs and follow purchasing procedures.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with GMP and health/safety rules.
