Job summary

St. Paul Beverage Solutions is hiring skilled plant maintenance mechanics to care for production assets and utility systems.

Your role ensures continuous operation of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment by handling planned and unplanned maintenance. With a high school diploma and 2–4 years in maintenance, you should be comfortable reading schematics and working with ammonia refrigeration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred trade/technical schooling in electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding, refrigeration or plumbing.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing settings.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, unplanned and emergency repairs on production and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections for reliability.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for maintenance tasks.
• Assist in installing new equipment and upgrading systems.
• Support operators with training and troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
• Close work orders promptly with accurate documentation.
• Utilize hand, power tools and meters safely and effectively.
• Maintain safety and GMP practices and report issues to management.
• Stay up to date on equipment, products and techniques; seek process improvements.
