Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to support our production facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include pump/motor and valve maintenance, VSD and fan systems, boiler monitoring, log-keeping, ammonia and glycol system oversight, and learning Pasteurizer systems. 2nd shift required in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card or 4 years manufacturing experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain an industrial lift truck operator permit.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift in a 24/7 operation, with holidays and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Pump, motor maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Valve maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Variable speed drive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Fan and blower maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Steam boiler control monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Fill out monitoring log sheets and charts.
• Air compressor and related systems maintenance and monitoring.
• Ammonia system monitoring and related safety procedures.
• Glycol system operation, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
