Job summary

Turkey Hill Dairy in Conestoga, PA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I for a night shift (11:00pm–7:00am), Tue–Sat. The role performs troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, quality foods while adhering to GMP and safety policies.

You will read blueprints, install pipe systems, and document repairs in CMMS. Trade or technical certification is preferred; strong teamwork and adherence to schedules are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must adhere to scheduled hours including starts, lunches and breaks.
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines and Turkey Hill policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Repair equipment during breakdowns.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders.
• Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect, operate, or test faulty machinery or equipment.
• Inspect or test programmable controllers and motors to diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain documentation of repairs and parts in CMMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
