Job summary

Tuscan Dairy in Burlington, NJ is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will maintain production, packaging and processing equipment and ensure reliable utility systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance, assist the plant maintenance team with inspections and events, and comply with safety and quality standards. The shift is 10:00pm–6:30am, with Fridays and Saturdays off; this is a great growth path within the DFA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• NJ Boiler License preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal checks).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in wet environments.
• Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production, packaging and processing equipment and ensure operation of utility systems.
• Complete maintenance requirements (planned and unplanned) to support continuous operations.
• Safely operate power equipment and assist with inspections and special events.
• Coordinate with the plant maintenance team to support only the essential maintenance activities.
