Job summary

Bongards Creameries in Humboldt, TN is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair cheese-making machinery in a fast-paced production environment. The role includes installing and modifying systems across the facility.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with electrical controls/PLCs. This night-shift position offers a 2-2-3 schedule, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electrical controls and PLCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, wrappers, packaging equipment, AGV, GIA, FANUC Robots.
• Install parts on various equipment and modify systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Record repairs and materials used; maintain logs.
• Maintain clean and lubricated moving parts.
