Job summary

Murphy and Nolan, Inc. in Town of Cheektowaga, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate cutting equipment, unload inbound materials, and prepare orders for shipment. You will verify packing slips, log inventory in ERP, and maintain a clean work area.

Training covers caliper measurements and safe forklift operation. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am, with safety-sensitive work. Strong attention to detail, math ability, and reliable on-site attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Ability to sort, count, measure, and verify numbers and shipments.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment after training.
• Ability to read and write.
• Good communication and math skills.
• Valid NY State Class B driver’s license and/or CDL is a plus for back-up driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting equipment (saw/lathe) to cut materials and perform duties as assigned.
• Unload trucks and move products to staging areas using forklift, pallet jack, or crane.
• Receive materials and verify packing slips against orders/invoices.
• Prepare orders for shipment and package materials for damage-free delivery.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and dispose of debris.
• After training, measure materials with calipers and log inventory in ERP.
• Move delivery trucks on-site and may operate a NonCDL truck as production needs.
• Support facility closure tasks at end of shift.
