Job summary

The City of Shoreview is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain the Shoreview Community Center and City Hall complex, ensuring a clean, safe environment for visitors and staff.

Join a team of seven custodians serving over 500,000 visitors annually; shift is third (8:30pm–5am, Fri-Tue). A high school diploma and custodial experience are required, with ability to lift 50–100 lbs and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 1 year custodial experience.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently and lift/move 50-100 lbs occasionally.
• The final candidate will be required to pass a physical exam and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment in a public facility (Shoreview Community Center and City Hall).
• Support a busy facility used by hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, as part of a seven-person custodial team.
