Job summary

Marysville School District 25 is hiring a Custodian for the 2:15 p.m.–10:45 p.m. swing shift. The role involves securing facilities, coordinating daily workloads, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for students. In-district applicants will be prioritized.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, First Aid/CPR training, and fingerprint clearance. The position reports to the Custodial Manager and pays per the SEIU Local 925 12-month schedule.

Qualifications

• First Aid & CPR training within 30 days of hire and maintained for duration of job.
• Experience and/or training with cultural, ethnic, and language diversity preferred.
• Successful Washington State Patrol and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• Proof of Immunization (if born 1957 or later).
• I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with IRCA.
• Completion of all district-required training within 30 days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility security and safety; supervise custodial staff to meet workload demands.
• Plan, schedule, and train custodial employees under your supervision.
• Oversee custodial maintenance and repairs while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor timesheets and forward to Custodial Manager.
• Maintain inventory and recommend supplies, tools, and equipment.
