University of North Florida is seeking a Custodian in the Physical Facilities, Custodial Services department. The role involves cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas to APPA standards, including floors and windows.

A 10P-6:30A Sunday-Friday schedule applies, with duties ranging from basic cleaning to event setup and supply handling. The position requires at least a 9th grade education and 1+ years of related experience; a driver’s license may be required for some assignments.

Formación

• Completion of ninth (9th) grade required and 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Some positions may require possession of a classified driver’s license appropriate to a type of vehicle operated.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and maintains classrooms, offices, kitchens, conference rooms, common areas, stairways, and building entrances.
• Cleans restrooms, floors, windows, doors, and display cases.
• Performs additional floor cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Assists with event setup and coverage during graduations and university events.
• Receives and delivers supplies; maintains break and storage areas neat and clean.
• Works with other departments and responds to work orders as needed.
