Job summary

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, seeks a CT Technologist for a full-time overnight position (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with rotating shifts. The role involves performing advanced CT imaging, patient positioning, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists in a hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT or NMTCB credentials, BLS, and must obtain CT certification within 12 months of hire. Indiana ISDH license required.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant CT experience as stated.
• BLS certification required by AHA.
• Active status through ARRT or NMTCB credentials.
• CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and prepare/position patients for scans.
• Screen patients for safe scanning and contrast administration; obtain IV access and administer contrast as needed.
• Adjust scan parameters to obtain diagnostic images; follow radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians; document in EMR.
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures and participate in QC of equipment.
