IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN seeks a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, prepare and position patients, and ensure safe contrast administration. You will screen patients, obtain IV access, and adjust imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic quality studies, while collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB CT certification within 12 months, active ISDH radiologic or nuclear medicine license, and 0–3 years CT experience.

Formación

• 0–3 years CT experience.
• Active ISDH license or eligibility in Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT or NMTCB CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Credentialing may require CT certification within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Operates CT scanner and positions patients for imaging.
• Screens patients for safe scanning and contrast administration.
• Obtains IV access and administers contrast as required.
• Adjusts scan parameters to obtain diagnostic images.
• Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Follows radiation safety protocols and performs routine QC.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and supports care team.

Educación

ARRT/RT(R) or NMTCB certification (CT)

ISDH license - Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine

CT certification within 12 months

0-3 years CT experience

Basic Life Support (BLS)
