Job summary

IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN seeks a full-time CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans with strict radiation safety protocols. The role covers 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with holiday rotation and no weekends or on-call requirements.

A sign-on bonus is available to eligible applicants. Responsibilities include operating the CT, positioning patients, administering contrast as needed, and coordinating with radiologists.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
• Active ARRT CT certification or NMTCB CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Active Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and position patients for diagnostic scans.
• Screen patients for safe scanning and safe administration of contrast.
• Obtain IV access and administer contrast as needed.
• Adjust scan parameters to address clinical concerns and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians; comply with radiation safety protocols.
• Perform routine QC on equipment and document information in EMR.
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
