Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience during a 36-hour nightly shift. The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines capturing diagnostic images
• Operate imaging equipment independently with ALARA principles
• Maintain room/equipment cleanliness and report issues promptly
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit
• Administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture technique
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete documentation in RIS/PACS
