Qualifications

• Two-year program in Radiologic Technology completed.
• New York State radiology registration required by state law.
• ARRT certification/registry required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions.
• Administer contrast material.
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment.
• Position patient to capture appropriate images.
• Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading.
• Clean and disinfect scanner and exam rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
