Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a CT Tech for a part-time night shift (Friday 10pm-8am and Saturday-Sunday 8pm-8:30am). A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions, in addition to Providence's benefits that begin on the first day.

The CT Tech performs CT examinations per physician orders, using advanced CT equipment, considering patient age and specific needs to produce optimal images while following safety

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board.
• ARRT Radiography certification or eligible.
• NMT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• CT technologist certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations per physicians' orders and uses CT equipment.
• Considers patient age and needs to produce optimal images.
• Applies imaging factors, technique and safety practices.
