Job summary
Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a part-time CT Tech for night shifts on Fridays 10pm-8am and Saturdays-Sundays 8pm-8:30am. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions, in addition to the standard benefits package that begins on day one.
The CT Tech will perform CT examinations per physician orders, selecting appropriate imaging techniques while considering patient age and condition to yield high-quality diagnostic
Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association.
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board.
- ARRT Radiography certification.
- ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology certification.
- Within 1 year: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
- Within 1 year: National Computed Tomography Technologist Certification.
Responsibilities
- The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment, taking into account individual patients' special or age-related needs.
- Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
