Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterility of imaging field and instruments.
• Prepare requisitions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Verify patient identification according to policy and HIPAA regulations.
• Observe patients' conditions before and after contrast injections, reporting changes.
• Ensure medical records, previous reports, labs, and histories are available.
• Maintain cleanliness of the CT equipment and workspace.
• Triage and coordinate emergent and unscheduled procedure requests effectively.
• Notify lead staff about expired or soon-to-expire equipment or medications.
• Follow established imaging protocols requiring immediate results.
