Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a CT Technologist for the third shift in the United States. The role requires operating CT equipment, administering contrast, and maintaining patient care and safety protocols. A minimum of 1 year CT experience is preferred, with ARRT Radiography credentials and LRT license required.

BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities include patient positioning, imaging, safety, documentation, and collaboration with radiology staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures using contrast under supervision.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization to obtain optimal views.
• Set exposure factors based on patient size and area requested.
• Apply radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Operate and troubleshoot radiologic equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain records and required documentation for procedures.
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Assist radiologist in examinations.
