Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a part-time CT Tech for Fort Washington Medical Center’s Radiology Department. The role involves running CT scans, educating patients, taking histories, and ensuring patient safety during night shifts with up to 16 hours per week.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Maryland licensure/ARRT, and CT certificate completion is preferred. The position offers nonrotating night shifts and a supportive faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Maryland licensure and/or ARRT certification.
• Completion of CT technology certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run CT scans and fulfill physicians' scan requests.
• Educate and prepare patients for examinations.
• Take patient medical history before an exam.
• Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients.
• Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms.
