Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan department for the evening/night shift (10-hour shifts). The role emphasizes precise positioning, correct technical settings, and monitoring equipment to ensure proper function.

You will produce high-quality CT exams, maintain sterile technique, and operate imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision while supporting patient care and team objectives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC/ERT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Reads, writes and speaks English fluently.
• One-year CT Scan experience preferred.
• ARRT certification (R) and MD state licensure required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality CT exams with diagnostic-quality images per protocol.
• Maintains sterile technique and proper equipment operation.
• Operates imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision.
• Participates in team activities and quality improvement programs.
• Attends staff meetings and assists in orientation of new staff.
• Performs on-call and patient transport duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of JRC/ERT approved Radiologic Technology Program

English language proficiency

One-year CT Scan experience preferred

CPR Certification - AHA
