Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in the Mixed Acuity Unit. The role covers three 12-hour shifts per week (7p–7a) with every third weekend, requiring flexible support shifts.

The nurse will apply the nursing process across age groups, collaborate with the care team, and participate in governance to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license required.
• BCLS required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within 6 months for experienced staff nurses and within 12 months for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and reassessments to guide care.
• Develop care plans using evidence-based standards.
• Provide care consistent with policies and standards and Baptist Health Louisville’s mission.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust as needed.
• Apply critical thinking and leadership within the clinical team.
