Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care for the Night shift. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.

You will practice under the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, adhere to evidence-based standards, and support quality improvement, shared governance, and compassionate care across diverse patient populations in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English language, optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills required.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with a decisive, composed and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care with evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with the patient and significant others using bedside shift reports; rounds; and patient teaching.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards and ensures timely documentation.
• Coordinates delivery of safe, high-quality care and promotes interdisciplinary communication.
• Supports performance improvement and participates in shared governance at all levels.
