Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network is seeking a Crisis Stabilization Clinician to provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and short-term treatment to individuals in acute emotional or psychiatric crises. The role requires collaboration with medical, psychiatric, legal, and social service partners and strong clinical judgment.

The position offers night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with shift premiums, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Licensed as LLMSW, LMSW, LP, LLP, LLPC, or LPC by Michigan.
• Crisis intervention or trauma-informed care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, assessment, and short-term treatment.
• Perform suicide and homicide risk assessments using evidence-based tools.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, hospitals, and courts during crises.
• Coordinate involuntary hospitalization processes under Michigan Mental Health Code.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education as required.
