Job summary

TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking a night shift crane operator for a project in Vicksburg, MS. The role involves operating RT and lattice cranes (Tadano, Liebherr, Link-Belt) and performing load/haul/dump tasks on varied terrain, with safety-first practices and potential training of others.

Expect night hours (6:00am - 4:30pm) Monday through Friday, with a pay rate up to $42/hr depending on experience and a $700 weekly per diem.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent with field experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
Proficient with basic electrical and hand/power tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment and drive on roads/rights-of-way performing maintenance and repairs.
Load gravel, dirt and sand; grade roads and spread materials.
Trench and install culverts, water and sewer pipes; remove debris.
Check fluid levels, lubrication and basic equipment maintenance.
May train others in safe operation of equipment and techniques.
Inspect equipment/structures for defects and plan corrective actions.
Estimate sizes, distances, and materials; plan manpower and time.
Review subordinate work for contract compliance and correct deficiencies.
