Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) at the Mt. Belvieu site in Texas has an opening for a Lattice Crane Operator. The role involves operating an all-terrain crane, planning lifts, performing pre-lift checks, and ensuring safe, accurate material handling on active projects.

Candidate must hold a valid crane operator license, be willing to travel, pass safety training, and work extended shifts in outdoor environments, often up to 12 hours and 7 days when required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid crane operator license for all-terrain crane.
• Must pass OSHA equipment operating courses as required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operates a crane to lift, move, and position loads and performs pre-lift/critical lift inspections.
• Plans all lifts using capacity charts and safety procedures.
• Observes load hookup and determines safety of load.
• Controls crane operations and hoisting movement.
• Uses hoisting attachments as needed.
• Performs daily crane inspections and maintenance.
• Observes equipment for hazards and necessary adjustments.
