Job summary

CorrHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support inmate care within a correctional health unit under RN supervision. The role involves nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, along with medication administration and triage of healthcare requests.

Applicants must hold a current LPN/LVN license in Colorado, possess CPR/BLS certification, and have a TB test within the past year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure in Colorado.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• TB test within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessment under RN supervision.
• Plan and implement individual treatment plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapy where certified.
• Assist providers in procedures and chart using SOAP notes.
• Perform EKGs and collect body fluid specimens.
• Maintain documentation of controlled substances and equipment.
• Triaging healthcare requests and ensure safety protocols.
