Job summary

CorrHealth seeks an LPN/LVN to assist in delivering inmate care within a correctional health unit under RN supervision. You will participate in assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment programs, administer medications, and support providers during evaluations and minor procedures.

Strong charting and patient care skills are essential. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program, active licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and TB testing within the past year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Must have current licensure as LPN/LVN in the state of employment.
• CPR/BLS certification and TB test within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessment of inmates under RN supervision.
• Plan and implement individual treatment programs with RNs.
• Administer medications per procedures, including IV therapy when certified.
• Support provider in evaluations and minor procedures; charting with SOAP.
• Triaging and addressing healthcare requests.
