Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Cookie Crew Member at our Downtown St. Louis store to be the friendly face at the front and to bake delicious warm cookies for in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.

You will interact with guests, help customers, and ensure every order meets our quality standards. The role emphasizes hospitality, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment with evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and make every interaction memorable.
• Prepare, bake, and package our warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to Insomnia's quality standards.
• Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe throughout every shift.
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, whether that's restocking supplies, helping a teammate, or keeping the line moving.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency, partnering with your Shift Leader when needed.
• Deliver the kind of experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong Insomniacs.
