Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Virginia Beach is seeking Back of House Team Members to prep, cook, and plate high-quality menu items in a fast-paced environment. You will set up stations, stock ingredients, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Fridays & Saturdays.
• Reliable, cheerful, and customer-focused.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow recipes accurately.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Willing to learn and follow Chick-fil-A safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
• Be knowledgeable of assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, boards, and food prep.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Stay up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and adhere to Chick-fil-A dress code.
• Other duties as assigned
